Cheryl Martin is passionate about speaking to audiences about living with purpose…and succeeding in their relationships and work. She walked away from a successful full-time career as a popular news anchor and host in 2002. Since then, more than 50,000 women have experienced her using the ABCs of Accuracy, Boldness, and Clarity, mixed with humor in her presentations. Cheryl is the host of Excellent Living, a weekly radio broadcast offering practical and relevant principles that assist women in making wise choices. She is also the author of 1st Class Single: Rules for Dating and Waiting God’s Way.
Cheryl has worked as a reporter and producer for the NBC-owned and ABC affiliate television stations in Washington, D.C. She was hired as a News Anchor for the national cable network, BET, in 1992, and four years later became the Moderator of its signature Sunday news analysis show, “Lead Story,” interviewing some of the nation’s top newsmakers, including former President Bill Clinton, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and General Colin Powell.
Cheryl is also the co-host of the radio program, Relationship Fitness. In a lively interview format, she and “relationship fitness coach” Johnny Parker provide insights for building and nurturing strong, lasting relationships.
Cheryl serves on the U.S. board of World Vision, the largest international Christian relief and development agency dedicated to helping children and their communities reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty. |
